Warcraft Movie to be Made!!!!!!!

Well have of your quote was trashing the game, which makes it apparent that you've never really played it to give it a fair evaluation.

Now I've never played the game, but the actual story of the game could have some ground to make a movie on. I'm not saying it will be a good movie, im just not shooting it down before i even know more about it.

im a little surprised blizzard chose wow as their first attempt at the big screen instead of diablo. imo diablo has a much better story and characters that are a little more workable. perhaps they made this decision in an attempt to capitalize on the active fan base wow currently has? remember people, world of warcraft is what? the 4th interation of the game? there were 2 real time strategy games then that warcraft III thing wtf that was.

i could see this movie doing rather well along the lines of resident evil. or i could see this becoming another wing commander. hard to say at this point.

Actually, Blizzard had plans of making a Diablo movie but once they got into the details of it, the movie would have cost way to much and been really really long so they scrapped the idea.

IMO both stories are amazing stories. Both can easily be made into movies. I just think they picked WoW because soo many people play WoW and the Warcraft series

To be honest though...all i want is Starcraft II. I don't care about the movies or anything, i just want SC2!

I'm glad they landed DeVito to play the title character. Not so sure of the casting of Kelly Clarkson as Coily. It seems like stunt casting for ratings - I mean, sure, it draws in the pre-teen crowd, but at the cost of compromising its trueness to canon.

And don't even get me started on the fact that it's a musical. "I'll Jump (Over The Edge To Get You)"? Please.
