Wade out for the year?

I think all of the Wade bashing you guys do shows how jealous of him you are. You have no idea what it's like to have a dislocated shoulder. When Wade is healthy, he is a top 3 player. Saying he is fragile is one thing, but bashing him because of it is totally another. I may not like LeBron, but my reasoning is of his game, not because he bites his fingernails or something stupid or immature like that. He will come back, and the Heat will go farther than Cleveland.

Actually, I don't like Wade b/c he's a sissy AND because I don't like his game. Why don't I like his game? Because it largely consists of (1) running out of control as fast as he can towards the hoop; (2) making sure he slams into a defender in the process; and (3) getting the foul call (and laying on the ground like a pansy long enough to really sell it, if need be).

Wade's game (putting my opinion that he's overrated to the side, for a minute b/c, as I said in another thread, there's at least 7 guys I can name that would've won an NBA title with the Heat had he been surrounded with the talent Wade was surrounded with last year) is ruining the NBA product b/c he's making it more about theatrics, plowing into defenders, and free throws than about hitting jumpers and solid offensive execution.

Now that I've said what it is that I don't like about Wade's game, I'd be interested in what it is that you don't like about LeBron's. I'd imagine that what you don't like about his game is that he's (rightly) given credit for being a better player than Wade, and it's been that way since they entered the NBA. In other words, you're envious, as a Heat fan.

Not this year, fella. And to the extent that Miami's real reason for making it far in the playoffs (Shaq) is nearing the end of his career, the Heat won't be going farther than the Cavs much longer either, if at all.

Back on that soapbox, again? Putting everyone into a box to bash them - in order to lecture them on bashing no less - isn't very smart, nor does it allow for civil discussion

Whoops
Saying he is fragile is one thing, but bashing him because of it is totally another.
I don't know if he's fragile, but the emotions on his sleeve sure are.
He will come back, and the Heat will go farther than Cleveland.
You've beaten that point into the ground, while ignoring the disparity between the rosters. Replace lebron with wade last year, and their postseason would have been identical.

No offense, but this is basically repackaging his argument with a different brand of homerism.

I cannot speak for anyone else but I have been surprised how well the Heat have been playing as of late without wade. I know I thought that as soon as he went out they would crumble. Shaq has picked it up and I love to see it. I have always been a big fan of the big aristotle. Other then Jordan and probably Lebron, Shaq has been a favorite player of mine. I really don't care that much about who wins the championship this year. The NBA has never been the same without MJ in my opinion. I just like the fact that the big fella is still showing that he has plenty of fire left after many people bash him because he has been injured a lot lately.
