I think you saying this shows incredible ignorance on your part. These are professional athletes being payed to play football. I'm not really into the idea that it wasn't a tough game for both teams. The statistics speak, though. How can you set a record and not get rookie of the week? Add to that, the fact that he came back with all of that pain he was in, I think he's very deserving.

I don't need your little mind telling me I am ignorant about anything, especially football. Considering that I know former professional athletes, including former professional football players, I also know how tough any game is on any given week. Ironically, I had a few beers tonight with a former backup QB for the Buffalo Bills and the topic of Stafford and his performance came up. While we said that it was a good performance, this former NFL QB chimed in with a, "Yeah, but remember it was against the Browns." I'll be sure to let him know how ignorant he is.

It's just that we are on completely different pages when it comes to sports. Sorry for thinking that I could say a differing opinion and not have someone try to brag about [censored] to make themselves feel superior.

Edit: And sorry if I was or am sounding like a troll. I just have the belief that the Lions can contend in almost any games if they get hot.

Also, the subtleties of sarcasm are lost on you, but again in your youthful haste to make a post without reading anything else on the board and posters' humor tendencies, you read my post as "shooting down" Stafford. See junior, he was making the same type of joke as I was, hence by saying I was ignorant about what professional athletes go through you were also saying that a former NFL QB was ignorant about what professional athletes go through. Learn from it. Trust me. An 18 year old does not know everything there is to know. Also, learn to recognize a joke, even when it is about your team. For the record, I am a Browns fan.

So a Browns fan and a Lions fan are fighting. It's like a Michigan fan and a Notre Dame fan fighting. Maybe if instead of fighting, you could join forced, and combine teams. Nah...they still wouldn't have a QB or O-line.
