Whether you like it or not, Matthew Stafford is the undeniable recipient of this Sunday's Rookie of the Week. Go Lions!

So you are saying Malcolm should have faked a shoulder injury?

Edit: And it figures, Jenkins had a great game the one week Stafford didn't throw 5 picks :shake:

Undeniable?!?

Well I will deny it since NFL Rookie of the Week comes with 2 big implications. The first is that the recipient is a rookie. Well Stafford is that.

The second is that the recipient actually plays on an NFL team and played in an NFL game. Neither the Lions or Browns currently qualify as NFL teams hence the game last Sunday, while entertaining in the way that a WAC game can be entertaining, does not meet the qualifications of an NFL game.

Oh, yeah, I'm sure that was the plan. Even if he had, which he undeniably didn't considering he won't be playing tomorrow against the Packers, they still would have had the final play. A game cannot end on a defensive penalty and refs can use their discretion to stop play if an injury occurs. Everyone hates on the Lions, but every time something good happens, they still run their mouth.

I think you saying this shows incredible ignorance on your part. These are professional athletes being payed to play football. I'm not really into the idea that it wasn't a tough game for both teams. The statistics speak, though. How can you set a record and not get rookie of the week? Add to that, the fact that he came back with all of that pain he was in, I think he's very deserving.

Be honest, your soul died when Barry Sanders retired, didn't it? All that's left now is the satisfaction of trolling Ohio State websites on thanksgiving eve. Matt Millen rulez!!!1!11!11
