As anyone else had a ton of emails today that had viruses attached? My Virus detectors send Me a message when it deletes one like that and have had about 7 today

I did receive one yesterday...it came in the form of a returned/bounced email

I had two unsavory looking things... Both (well one for sure) .zip files... One said, "Here are your bank records" the other said "read me."

Yeah... whatever losers.

I got 3 today. "NAKED PIX OF BRITNEY SPEARS", "Read Me", and "FrEd DuRsT SeX TaPe".

the one in all caps and the one in regular Upper Lowercase are obviously viruses......but the FrEd DuRsT one is all typed out weird. it MUST be legit!

I got two of them yesterday but i learned mt lesson on opening unknown e-mails already. I got F'D in the A a while back from one of them

There's a new variant of Sober which was released a few days ago which is spreading at an unbelievable rate.. apparantely account for 70% of all malware activity.

Dang, Lloyd, you beat me to it. :) Some of the subject lines they're describing, though, don't match the MO of Sober that I read this morning. I wonder if there's another out there spreading.

Someone is using my email address to spoof sending the virus. I got around 90 returns from Deloitte yesterday saying the message I sent to so and so was rejected due to the message containing a virus.

I do not bother to reply and I know we are not compromised here.

Viruses work by sending emails to and "from" people in the infected person's address book.

Some even send to people's emails listed on webpages.
