You can't be serious...does anyone have that poster they used to sell that showed the ball in the air and Sharp holding all over Gamble?

I've never seen the poster. It looked to the naked eye and from all of the replays that it was a bad call. I'll take it though. I still would like to buy Mr Porter dinner some time. It took large brass ones to throw that flag that late from his vantage point.

Well I am happy that after 6 years you will finally get to see the error of your ways.

Look, I've been in more than one discussion about this with friends and family, some of which have wanted to disown me. I'm Ohio born and breed, I grew up watching Ohio State football at family gatherings. However I've always been an independent thinker and above and beyond that I call it like I see it. My heart broke after that play because I thought it was game over. I was doing cartwheels after the flag hit the ground, I was the happiest guy in the room. I still it was a bad call. Even after looking at that play in all speeds from every possible angle I have to say that I would not have thrown the flag.

Have you read the last few posts in this thread?:2004::2004:

There is being an independent thinker and then there is, well never mind.

Research time, sir. Plenty of information right on this very site. Book report is due next Saturday by kickoff.

For extra credit: Has any team ever won with only field goals while the other has a TD on the board?

So even with something like 5 posts previous to this post showing that what you're thinking is complete bullshit, you STILL felt the need to tell us your "free-thinking" bonafides??

I bet you weren't. You were probably ranting and raving about "lack of sack" or other nonsensical crap.

In the past I've always been told that I'm better off keeping this particular opinion to my self. I know I deserve the rep dings, no big deal. Still shots can be deceiving. I've tried to convince myself that the call was legit but deep down in heart I can't. We'll just leave it at that. I'm not discussing the subject any further.

So you're kind of like our resident Buckeye board EMO guy. Have an opinion for the sake of being different than everyone else, in spite of overwhelming evidence proving you're wrong.

Rock on buddy. Or not, you know whatever you emo people do.
