Vidauntae "Soft Taco" CharLLLLton (SOFT TACO)

Michigan could afford take on the talented, yet unrefined prospect. Taco has always been high risk, high reward. With some coaching and hard work, he can be an All Big Ten performer.

I don't think they could "afford" to take him, I think they HAD to take him.. They sorely lack pass rushers and they need him to be effective. Sooner the better.

This is the difference between OSU recruiting and Scum recruiting.

I like their lineman haul, but other than that, I'm not to impressed with their class. They're tight on numbers and it appears that they will only take one more prospect (probably Treadwell). I'm really excited to see how Urban finishes this class because it has the potential to be the best quality class in the country (except for maybe USC).

Morris seems to be more highly regarded than Barrett but I like the way he plays better than Morris. He is more accurate and is of course a dual threat, which is a staple in Urban's offense.

Michigan lost out on Isaac and it has bit them where it hurts. OSU has the chance to bring in Elliot and Green/Williams/Mizzel.

They currently have 1 WR committed with a good chance at Treadwell. OSU has Marshall committed and seem to be going after 2 more (Foster, Quick, Allen, Whitfield).

Tight-ends are similar (however imo Baugh looks more like a receiving threat than Butt).

D-line is no comparison.

Right now Scum has the advantage at linebacker with McCray and Gedeon. But OSU can slim that gap with a commitment from Mitchell.

OSU's DB class is arguably the best in the nation, and getting Bell would add insult to injury.

I like the analysis, I will get mine finished and posted soon through BBC. Lots of excitement to compare the two classes but I am more than comfortable with passing on Taco, especially with our DL classes.

Sources: Fins switch to QB Rosen, add Taco to D

The Dolphins have also claimed defensive end Taco Charlton off waivers from the Cowboys. Charlton, a first-round pick by the Cowboys in 2017, was waived by Dallas on Wednesday after asking for his trade or release. Miami claiming him saves Dallas from having to pay out $1.6 million in guaranteed base salary in 2019 and 2020.

Both the Rosen and Charlton moves fall in line with the Dolphins' plans to collect lower-priced assets to evaluate whether they can play a long-term role for the team as it rebuilds.
