Okay, I'm going to try to throw all my biased logic out of the window... Who would you take as your QB of the future; Young or Vick? I know Vick has more years of experience and all, but judging by the way that Young has played, and kept the Titans close in pretty much every game (except the Cowboys game), I'm starting to see a lot of excellence in Young's game. They both don't have particularly good passing numbers, but they keep their teams in the game. I think that Young's passing accuracy will get a lot better. He's 62 percent under shotgun, and 36 percent in non-shotgun. Once he gets the non-shotgun formations down, he could be a pretty solid NFL QB.2

I'd take Young just because he's a winner, he's used to it and knows how to do it. Of course that's speaking only from his college years. But I think he has great potential.

... You should include Troy Smith in this poll. Because I'd take him over both of these guys. I think he's going to be a good NFL QB.

well if it were right now, and I could surround him with a running game (like Atlanta has done), I'd take Vick for a "right now" QB.

But in 5 years I think we'll see Vince Young playing at a level similar to that of Steve McNair in his prime.

Vick was a winner in college, too. Virginia Tech went 22-2 while he was there.

Right. He played in the oh so tough Big East. What YOU don't seem to get is that we do get it. Most of us know just as much as you do, pal.

Pal???

Keep in mind I have never once said a bad thing about VY and have always agreed with Titans pick of him of Leinart, Cutler.

BTW what was so bad about speaking the truth. There are plenty of ppl on here that don't agree with what he said. Look at your respons, o the mighty Big East. Some people would probably say the same thing about The mighty Big XII last year.

Pal... what do you want me to call you? Bud? Chum?

V. Young actually beat some tougher schools (ie. Ohio State, Oklahoma), while Vick got crushed in his one big game. I'm not trying to light a fire or anything, but I'd say that Young was definitely the better college player.

By the way, how does this even classify as a "personal attack"?

Well Young played 3 years. Vick played 2. Vick came in second in heisamn voting his freshmen year. His only lose that year was to FSU who was loaded and he did bring his team back from 21 pt deficit to take a lead for awhile. Then his sophmore year he lead his team to a 11-1 record and only lose was to Miami who finished the season #2. Also for those that didnt know he led the NCAA in passing effeciency his freshmen year with a 180.4 rating. Highest ever for a freshmen.

I am in no way saying that Vick was the better college player...I have never said that, just pointing out that Vick wasnt too shabby and only played 2 seasons. I don't think people would of said Young was a better college player with just his first 2 years and not his season last year. Who knows what Vick could of done if he had stayed another year.

Other stuff is pm material...

Being a winner has always been discarded on this board when it comes to Vick... that goes for the NFL & college.

I'm not sure which QB I'd take. I don't think either is the recipe for a super bowl ring, tho Vick came pretty close. I agree with the killer D/dilfer plan. Can I pick Troy after a little growth spurt?

Vick was actually 3rd in 1999 Heisman voting, which was his redshirt freshman year. Ron Dayne won, and Joe Hamilton of Georgia Tech finished second.
