I am moving to Jackson Heights soon, and for some reason they get Verizon Fios there.

So is it all it is cracked up to be? I went to their website, which won't compare their packages (yay, this one gets 50 more channels, WHAT ARE THEY?), etc., but haven't found much about it. I know the download/upload speeds are as advertised.

It looks to be half of what I pay for Time Warner now. (Maybe $189 for my current cable/internet with Time Warner, $99 with 25 down, something up for Verizon)

Any experiences? I think I may switch.

I switched from Comcast. Honestly there isn't a difference, except I pay about $100 less (until my contract is up). You get the same channels, nice quality, not much data loss. I'm pretty happy with them.

Customer service was decent when I called. They added some weird movie/games package that I didn't order, and I didn't notice for a couple months. I called and told them I didn't want it so they took it off for every month it was on with no problems.
