Please come to New Orleans and see the National WWII Museum. Too late for many vets, but if you have a WWII era loved one who is healthy enough to travel, you should make it a priority to visit the Museum. And you and your family should visit yourself to get a better understanding of what your folks or grandparents went through - what the whole country went through - during that time. It was a level of shared sacrifice unlike anything seen or experienced by succeeding generations.
