I know it won't be popular with the masses but I'm much more interested in this match up than I would've been in Kansas-Florida. At least now I won't spend the entire evening wishing for a meteor to hit Houston.

What's lost in all this brouhaha is that Bilas was right - VCU had no business being in the tourney. That doesn't take anything away from their spectacular performance in a party they essentially crashed.

Yep. Just because they've won games doesn't mean they earned the bid during the season. But if I went to VCU I'd be sticking it to the naysayers, too.

Looking like Jamie Skeen vs Shelvin Mack, so far. Those two could play anywhere.

Skeen to the bench with 2 fouls, though.

After Skeen went out BU outscored VCU 9-4 to lead by 6 at halftime. Fouls adding up against the Rams and BU has the game at their pace now. Going to be tough to see the Bulldogs losing now.

Just when Butler was starting to look safe, Skeen hits a 3 and it fouled.

Timeout with 2:32 left. If he makes the free throw, VCU will be within 3.
