Oh8ch: Will the odds change based on bets, or are they locked? A shit-load of folks are betting Zwick at 5-1, almost three times as much vCash as on 3-1 Boeckman.

Good question that I haven't seen before. Places that bet with real money shift the odds as the money comes in to protect themselves from losses. I believe that we shouldn't do that - when we place a bet the odds should stay that way. I wouldn't make bets (even vbets) if the odds were going to shift after the wager is placed. I just laid all v500 of my money on this bet, assuming the odds are locked in place.

So even if some software changes would allow us to shift the odds based on where the bets are made, I feel strongly that we shouldn't do it. We'd just end up with a lot of v-pissed people when they won less vCash than they thought.

Zwick seems like #3 in my book, but at 5 to 1 I'm definitely putting down at least 75.

When you bet with a real bookie, you get the odds you bet on. Sometimes the odds change after you bet, but it doesn't effect the bet you've placed. Only the bets placed after that.

While it does say we can pay out AFTER the date we actually only have seven days or the bet gets cancelled. I just changed the payout date. Thanks.
