I might actually have to root for the weasels this week. Who else is going to beat PSU? After all THEY ARE PENN STATE (in case you didn't know).

keep in mind we have to root for longevity for carr as well. JoePa's actually dead, they just built a robot up there in happy valley (they hid some of the unfinished wiring with those two dozen towels wrapped around his neck).
scUM's gonna get destroyed, in my opinion. Let's see...the opponent association game is weak, but in this case it's hilarious! Gophers beat scUM in the big house by 3. PSU puts 41 on Minny.
My worry is primarily that they seem to have a offense that works well against our defense's weaknesses. I'm rather pleased with our defense's performance this season after the end of the last one, but we still have a problem with pursuit when teams run wide of the line. Things will even be worse with both Barringer and Engelmon injured, and they have a ton of speed in Robinson, Williams, etc. that they can use to exploit that.I would think you could hold them to under 20 at your place.
They can, but who knows which Henne and Carr will show up? 2004/MSU Henne or ND/Wisconsin/Minnesota Henne? Will Carr and Malone actually have us throw downfield ala MSU or stick with the Run-run-pass-punt offense of the Minnesota game? The question now is can Henne, Hart, and company put up 20+ points on their defense...I think they can if Henne can read zone coverage well (something that Troy Smith couldn't).
I'd reverse the spread, maybe giving us 3.5-6.5.
