JJ will be better long term but you trade him, keep Verajao. We need height we don't need another 6-9 power forward/center. Unless something changes he's
the only center we have..

Best solution, trade Jamison :)

Don't know enuf about Bosh... does he defend? or does he play ole' defense like Boozer?

I'm not exactly an NBA expert, but from what I'm able to find and what my impression of Bosh is - and that is he is at least an adequate defender if not better. That's not to say he's on Pippen's level defensively, but I don't think he's an "El Matador" either.

Amare Stoudemire couldn't guard me as a comparison.

you give up either one or both to get LeBron his "Pippen".....

Yeah, I would give up BOTH for the right player. For Bosh? I might be willing to give both if we also get a real center like Haywood. Cuz for Bosh I say buh bye Hickson for sure since his playing time will be next to nothing. AV? While he can play center next to Bosh, neither Bosh nor AV can guard Howard.

I voted to keep Andy. I think JJ will be a better all around player, but Andy would be better for the Cavs to keep to go along with Bosh. Andy can play either the 4 or 5 and seems to be one of Lebron's favorites.
The real question is what do they need to give the Raptors to pull off the sign and trade? The Cavs have the best pieces to offer, but there is no point of overpaying the Raptors when Bosh can walk without any return if he wants to play someplace with cap space. The Cavs just need to make sure their offer is better than what everyone else can offer. I'd really love to see them take Jamison, West, and JJ.

IMO.. a deal will most likely be a function of whether the Raptors want to field an adequate team now... or bag it for the next couple years and basically build from scratch...

If they want to be reasonably competitive.. they demand AV
If they bag it and go for the future... they demand JJ

Why no one wants Jamison is worrisome... heck, I was very happy when we got him... but now I'm ready to give him back...

Who can guard Howard?... other than Shaq... and if Shaq is willing to play for the MLE .. why doesn't he do it for us? I like the big fella... he's a Jersey boy

I'd actually like to keep Jamison and think he'd be an excellent 6th man off the bench. Jamison left a sour taste in everyone's mouth due to the Boston series, but that was on Mike Brown as much as Antawn. Jamison was a 6th man of the year award winner several times in his career as well.

My vote would be to trade Hickson, although I think Toronto will want Andy. If you look at the salary we'd need to match up, you need Andy if Jamison isn't part of the package, and I doubt he will be. I don't think Colangelo will want Jamison's inflated contract for several years.

It'd just be awesome to land Bosh though. He's already leaking he won't accept a trade to Cleveland so this may have all been a huge tease. I think the reports will change a lot over the next few days. Bosh will try and power his way to Miami, Chicago, or New Jersey while getting that 6th year and an extra 30 mil. He wants that additional year bad, but it will take some serious negotiating and balls to get the 6th year and end up in Chicago, Miami, or New Jersey based on the trade packages those teams can offer.
