As far as things to do in town, I was only in Vancouver for a day or so before driving up to Whistler to ski, so I don't have any suggestions. The 'sea to sky highway' was a pretty epic drive, however.

I would imagine Vancouver and much spiffier in the aftermath of last winter's Olympics than it was when I visited 9 years ago.
victoria is a nice place. same with kelowna. bc has a pretty nice wine country, not as crowded as say napa/sonoma. but not as renowned either.cincibuck;1738903; said:If you have enough time take the ferry to victoria and see the British Columbia History Museum. A very fascinating, modern museum.
