The Sedins finally got things going in in the 3rd period, and the Canucks got a pair of goals to pull out a 3-2 win in Game 1.

A Canuck on the point was trying to play it deep off the glass, and the puck bounced off the side glass back toward the blue line. Bieksa shot a bouncing puck that snuck past NIemi, who was looking behind the net until the puck bounced off the end of his pad and into the net.

I have avoided posting in this thread in fear of jinxing anything. But now that this team is in the finals I can breathe easy for a few days.
Now I just have to plan my trip to either boston or tampa for a game. stupid passport issues are preventing me from going up north...
