Pack up all my cares and woe,
Here I go,

The Miz and I are heading off to the Greater Booth Bay Area, to a tiny dot called Pemaquid Point near the thriving metropolis of Damariscota. Will wave to Sushi from the outer belt. Two weeks in a house that's advertised as "five feet from the lake, minutes from the ocean."

This will be our third trip to Maine... my fifth... and I'm wound about as tight as I can get. Packed the lobster pot and the lobster crackers (pliers), the can of Old Bay, the camera, the CDs, the laptops, lots of books...

I'll get back and get into shape for the season, undoing all the stress and tension reduction that the Maine vacation created. Will try and post from there but this does not sound like a place that's heard of access, let alone wireless and the nearest Panerra is in Portland I believe.

Spent a week in Maine in June and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Stayed in Bar Harbor, Portland, and Camden.

Also visited Boston, Mohegan Sun, Providence, and Newport.

Newport, RI is really neat by the way.

Two hours is a long commute! I guess I could take the Downeaster train for $19 per day.
