For me it’s more about Lincoln and Caleb being massive d-bags more than the “USC” brand.
Plenty of teams beat up on them under Sark and Helton and it wasn’t a big deal.

For me (and I think a lot of older Buckeye fans) SC ranks just below TSUN in dislike. So, yeah, fuck USC.
Makes sense considering you’ve played them numerous times.
We’ve only played twice with the last recent being 1984.
Didn’t like them during the Cheaty Petey era, but hadn't dealt with them much directly. Would’ve been cool to have the 4 team playoffs in 2003 to see Saban vs Carrol.
Ironically we’ll be playing them next year guaranteed while the Buckeyes would theoretically meet them in the B1G title game (doubt that USC will make it however).
