USC Song Girls - Priceless!

this girl would have to be standing more than ten feet infront of the other girls to appear that tall. I believe the Song Girls, like the Rockettes, have a height range they need to fall into for uniformity's sake. I don't think this girl, if in line, would make that cut. She appears so out of place.

Her uniform is the same size and dimension as everyone elses'. Look at her feet, and the fact that all the other song girls' feet are hidden due to the grass and the crown on the field. The cheering song girl is just jumping up and down.

If it were a fark, there would be inconsistancies in the crowd behind that cheerleader, and those would be most obvious between her arms by the pom poms. The picture looks pretty seamless to me.

I agree! As an amateur photographer it looks real to me. I do not see anything where you'd say it was spliced together. Hey,she was confused-she's blonde after all!

You guys can believe the picture all you want, it is funny but it's clear that some photoshop was used. Check out the lower right leg and ankle of the the girl jumping. Right below the right calf you see where the person that photoshop didn't rebuild the lower leg to match the rest of the leg. Also, the blonde with pom-pom's in front of her has same problem with her lower right leg, looks like someone to a chuck of her leg off right above the grass line.

I dont' really care if it's real or not - but I was looking at some other Rose Bowl pics from this year, and one of the song girls had an ace bandage on her ankle. That's what the 'really bad tan line' is.

Anyway, like I said, I don't care if it's real or not. Just a stupid 'priceless' joke.

You must of missed the part where I said the picture was still funny. I saw the ankle wrap and that wasn't what I was referring to with the really bad tan line. If you follow up her leg with the ankle wrap look at the change of color of her leg right below the knee, that in no way has anything to do with shade. If you want to see shade look at her other leg just below skirt line.

I've been using Photoshop for a long time (really not trying to brag), and I've seen and done a lot of chop jobs. Considering how a football stadium is lit, saying that the shade/tone of any of the girls' legs is abnormal is pretty much baseless. The one holding the pom-poms in front actually has reasonably pale legs. They appear to darken because of the position of the pom-poms relative to the light, which is causing a shadow that the other girls (one holding hers higher, the other holding them behind) don't/wouldn't have. The much lighter part of her left leg near the grass line is clearly an ankle wrap. The cheering girl seems taller because she's jumping. If this is a fake, it is absolutely impeccable. The crowd behind the cheering girl is completely unscathed, so there must have been nothing there in any 'original' photograph. The two other blondes appear to be looking right where the cheering one is, though, so...I don't know. Best fake ever?
