Matt Barkley is almost all hype. It's Lee and, to a lesser extent Woods, that are the studs that make that O go. Honestly don't think Barkley is much better than a Chad Henne type QB. Ok size, solid arm, no mobility, and makes stupid decisions at least a couple times a game. Watching Lee and Barkley is like watching Braylon Edwards and Henne back in the day.

Two Biletnikoff finalist level players, but Barkley hasn't taken the next step most expected him to make to being a great player and the lack of a good running game and a banged up OL putting the pressure squarely on his shoulders is showing that. If you look at the stats for their passing offense, Lee and Woods are on pace for about 2900 yards receiving combine, which is absurd, and after that they have a very good TE, but no #3 WR. Their next WR has 8 catches on the year. I think OSU's #3 WR has more catches than that. Barkley, being a 4 year starter and a senior, has to distribute the ball better than that.

True, Lee is an incredible talent, but I think he's forcing passes to him and Woods that are leading to INTs and punts when he could also be finding his other WRs and TEs for nice gains.
