I don't have any clever puns but I'm tempted to take Minnesota. USC has been living on the razor's edge and the Gophers were humiliated in front of their own crowd. Could be the perfect upset recipe. Or not.

I don't think anyone can burrow deep enough to top this one.

I think the Trojans will cover in what should be a stimulating game. The Gophers will dig their way into a hole early, then dig out of it by showing their teeth and burrowing between the tackles, but repeated deep penetration into their own end by Trojans will eventually bury them and have them begging for mercy. I think the game could really be won on kick coverages, because a number of specialty Trojans will easily overstimulate the inexperienced Gophers.
