Italy looks dangerous every time they bring the ball up the field. Their forwards do a great job with making runs and holding onto the ball until support comes.
US is playing well, though. Altidore is causing problems for the Azzurri.

Landon leads a nice counter attack and lays one off nicely for Bradley Jr., but he fumbles over the ball and has a weak attempt on goal. :(

Late challenge and got his legs up high. It was more of an honest late challenge than anything with intent, should have been a yellow, imo.
US had been looking dangerous. We'll be lucky to tie now. Though this is similar to the 2006 WC where we battled hard down a man for most of the game to tie 1-1.

1-0 USMNT.
I'm so excited, but the 2nd half is going to be a lot of defending, down a man. Hopefully Landon can spring one on a counter. He's got great fitness late in the game and this is as good as he's looked in a while. He's actually attacking and getting involved (been known to disappear in big games).
