US Open: Agassi vs. Blake

Wow. I am not much of a tennis fan, but that match was absolutely incredible. I wish every sporting event was like that. The crowd was electric. An all-time great against a wild-card entry. Agassi fell behind two sets to none, and stormed back to force a fifth set. Down a break late in the fifth set, Agassi came back to force a tiebreak. Then, he fell behind AGAIN 3-0 in the tiebreak, and came back and won. That was one of the greatest tennis matches I've ever seen.

That was definitely one of the best matches in recent memory. Night tennis at the US Open is the only tennis I can really watch and enjoy.

Course I guess it is a great sport for fat people with no athletic ability. So is chess though.

I stayed up for the match too. Unbelievable game by Agassi down 5-4 in the fifth set. I couldn't help but feel bad for Blake, though.

My wife and I actually got to attend the first day of the Open this year. Very fun experience - in the early rounds you get to see a ton of matches.

Tennis is more of a sport than golf is. Golf is more a skill than a sport. Golf requires absolutely no athletic ability.

I went to sleep after the fourth set. I thought Agassi was beat when he got broken in the third. Blake played the match of his life for 2 1/2 sets, then it seemed as though he actually started to tire.
