US-Canada Olympic Men's Hockey

Brodeur's playing with fire with the way he's playing the puck behind the goal.

Pretty much everything he's done has been bad. That second goal was pretty weak, and considering he had that stupid baseball play to set it up makes it even worse.

I don't understand why Luongo didn't start for them in the first place, considering it's his home ice. But thanks Babcock!

Watching stuff like this makes me wonder even more why hockey isn't more popular. Then I realize that I'm watching it on MSNBC.....

One reason it's on MSNBC is the lack of tv time outs. Not much room for commercials, and NBC wants to get their ads in, as they can on NBC showing things like skating and skiing with natural breaks between participants.

Well, Ryan Miller is playing like he needs to for the US to have a chance in the tournament.

Yep, but we better slow them down. They're on pace for 60 shots and I doubt he can hold up under that onslaught.

Basically, NBC is pissing on their customers. Guarantee more people want to watch this game than ice dancing.

And I know it's about money. It should be about the country, but NBC is fucking retarded.

I'd get into hockey more if we had an NHL team in Cleveland. I just can't seem to root for some other city's team. I know we have Columbus but by the time they came around I wasn't into Hockey at all. I love watching the Olympics though. This game is entertaining as shit. Rafalski and Ryan Miller are having outstanding games thus far, but as someone said we're gonna have to start applying the pressure cause Canada is just teeing off on our end and I doubt Miller can hold up all night against this.
