One of ours, a 'red sex link', lays an extra large brown egg every day. Our other two, a California White and Barred Plymouth Rock, lay about 5 eggs a week each, but those two have slowed down now that the days are very short.

Deety: our chickens aren't all that bright, so I'm not too hopeful about tricks, though there may be some lolchickens in their future... :p

My folks keep chickens at their palce in the country, and to keep them laying in the winter, you need a constant light source in the coop/cage-it still won't be as much, but they will keep laying through the winter.

And why aren't the neighborhood cats jumping your chickens? There is a stray tomcat in my neighborhood that would love to have an opportunity to get at a chicken walking around in a back yard.

I've seen chickens fuck cats up on multiple occasions.

Emu - Cougar cage match?

Only if the ring is lined with prone PETA supporters.

Edit: I take that back...I'd pay to see it without the PETA lined cage but adding them would definitely raise the amount I'd pay to watch.
