The Tressel era shoulder stripes only existed during one other period, Earle Bruce's reign.

Who? Never heard o' 'em. Did they do anything special?

Oh, you mean the same reign in which Urban Meyer last worked for OSU?

Also the same one in which Jim Tressel first worked in Columbus.

Just pointing out that the gray stripes have a much older pedigree than the Cooper era.

To be honest I'm surprised no one has jumped all over the fact that the 68 team had (omg!) BLACK shoulder numerals.

My eyes are bleeding like Kevin Spacey's in Outbreak.

The uniforms have their own page and some of the responses are pretty good.

Tom Ramsden Adidas = Rapists. They just bent the ND brand over and had their way with us.

Troy Sim This confirms that Notre Dame officially admits they are an also-ran on-par with Maryland.

Michael E. O'Connor Any ND fan who actually like this uniform.......Go to Michigan....these are an absolute disgrace!

Rob Henry In Animal House, remember John Belushi's reaction when he saw the picture of Flounder during the slideshow? That's my reaction, as I can't come up with any more words for how bad this is.

The fact that Nike is selling eight jersey numbers in 2012 leads me to suspect Ohio State really is changing permanent uniforms in 2013 (to the ones in the photo behind Coach Meyer during "Training Days").

Hit Ohio State fans twice. Clear out the stock in 2012 and hit the fans again in 2013 with the new design.

Nike has Manchester United wearing a table cloth this year. This could actually happen.

And Nike could easily market this (in several ways).

I mean, Nike said the checkered shirt for Manchester United is because of the Gingham/Fabric/Cotton production in Manchester, England.

I'm sure Nike can say there's a ton of Scottish people in Eugene, Oregon.
