James Holeton, 39, gained a few yards after a Kroger employee Maced him when she allegedly caught him stealing OSU goods from the store at 245 Deo Drive, police said
The store employee Maced him after he allegedly pushed her and took a swing at her, Newark police Sgt. Paul Davis said.
The employee told police the license plate of the vehicle Holeton allegedly used to escape, and police arrested him at his home around 5:05 p.m., Davis said.
Davis said he didnt know the value of the items Holeton allegedly stole.
