On today’s episode of “Land-Grant Uncut,” we are bringing you unedited audio from the Tuesday, Sept. 10 press conference featuring Ohio State head football coach Ryan Day and defensive coordinator Jim Knowles. This is the coaches’ normal Tuesday afternoon media availability, but since there’s no game this weekend, instead of having an opponent to preview, they discuss what the team will be focusing on during #ImprovementWeek.
Day also made it seem like Donovan Jackson’s return to the Buckeye offensive line is imminent, and that the rest of the room is excited to have him back. Day was also asked about whether or not they have discussed getting C.J. Hicks some snaps at defensive end. While the head coach said that they have thought about it, they need him at linebacker right now, so they are going to have him keep focusing on LB for the time being.
