Darn. We almost doubled them up. Complete basketball game for the Buckeyes.

Just to put it in perspective, G'Town beat these guys by 15....and UNC beat them by 11...

I know you can't really compare. But that's a big difference.

Evan Turner's crunch time scoring is going to be missed when we start to play close games against great teams. But this team is IMO without question better than last year's team. It'll be interesting to see if we can get punched in the mouth by really good teams and punch back. But this team is way deeper, stronger inside, better rebounding, and stronger defensively than last year's. And while we don't have an off-the-dribble creator like ET, the skill of Sullinger inside, both as a post scorer and as a passer out of the post, means that this team doesn't need that like last year's team did.

My favorite stat of today's game- Sully with 5 assists.

I didn't get to watch the game, so when I see a few comments like this about a play, I must admit, it piques my interest. Thank God for Sportscenter. JD's dunk was included in the highlights...NASTY, just plain NASTY.

'Spoon missed 4 down the stretch. Had that monster dunk on a follow-up, and almost had a highlight breakaway dunk, but he was fouled. It was great to see the Vets, or starters, really into the game when the youngsters were in there!

I made this one up because I didn't see a Vegas line, although it made no sense for them not to have one.
