Ughhh Monday... See what the team is made of

Juice, Full of Juice!!
Well the loss still stings and stings bad, in all honesty the only time a loss hurt this much was the 98 MSU loss, but life goes on. The biggest thing is we did almost what the game plan called for to a T, but let it slip away (dropped TD pass kills the most), but onwards gentlemen.

As I was sitting here, I realized that this loss has to be 10 times more devestating to the players then it is to us. In my opinion we will really see a different side of coaching from JT that I am not sure we have. Most close games till now have fallen our way. What I am curious to see is if JT can keep his team focused. When you have lofty goals and so early on they seem to have failed no matter what you do, a team could naturally quit and and pack in for the rest of the season. I am in no way saying they will do this, but I am anxious to see how JT gets his kids to respond the next couple of weeks. It is a long shot but the opportunity at the MNC is still available, but canhe get the kids to buy in.

Here is to the best damn team in the land, thanks for the tremendous effort kids, you guys layed it on the line and what a memory all of us have because of you hard work and warrior like attitude on the field.

Good Luck Sat against the Aztecs

I was at the local Women's Business Council meeting today (being as I'm female, in case that wasn't known) and the number one topic on EVERYONE's lips was the game. It was rather odd to be sitting at a table among a bunch of local businesswomen who were all talking football. Not business, not politics, not school funding...Buckeye Football. Not "my husband was watching the game", but "I can't understand why Tressel called this particular play at this particular time."

I thought, "Hey...if you guys want to talk Buckeye Football, I can talk Buckeye Football!" And talk that we did. :) And a great time was had by all.

Thats all that was talked about at work today and it was somewhat good to hear I was not the only one still in pain and still a little hung over... speaking of bad losses IE Mich st in 98, for some reason one that really sticks out in my mind other than the obvious ones was Tennesse with the 3 inch cleats... I still want revenge
