That was a badass fight. I wanted Sonnen to win, just because it seems to me that it means more to him. That was amazing.

Exactly...Silva won this thing fair and square...he got himself in a position to force Sonnen to tap, or pass out. That's the point of the fight. I'll complain when fights go to the judges, and they don't go the way that the fight obviously did...but in this case, the win goes to the better fighter. Sonnen dominated, but couldn't do what Silva finally was able to do. Love it! Great fight!
It's like football. You can have twice as many total yards as the other team, but if you don't have more points, you lose. Better to win ugly than lose pretty, although in this case, I really see it as winning pretty. Great submission.
