I thought Tate and Smith hadn’t practiced this week so I expected Sayin and the backups to be better. As for the Heisman..who knows.

Could mean they did practice a fair amount and that’s why Sayin and the backups were out of sync.

The pass rush has varied from game to game. They blitzed some but weren’t working that hard to get after the QB.

It could all come down to which QB looks better Sayin or Mendoza (head to head) in the B1G CCG. The B1G CCG could be "winner take all", i.e. the B1G Championship, #1 seed in the CFPs, and The Heisman Trophy, etc.

Just sayin': It wasn't Ohio State's best game of the season by any means. Sometimes teams tend to play up to or down to their level of competition. This game could be an example of Ohio State playing down to UCLA's level of competition. Anyway it was a win and we'll take it; and now we can move on to the next game.
