Officials will need a timeout to catch their breath. Jezz, TV is a blur

I've said this before, and don't mean for it to take away from Oregon-

But the "hurry up and get a play off before they're ready" offense just seems to be admitting that you couldn't be successful if you lined up and went toe to toe.

Competitive advantage, I get- but this isn't football. I hate to admit it, but I agree with Barry-

?We play football here; we don?t play basketball here,? Wisconsin Athletic Director Barry Alvarez said regarding the era of spread offenses

I'll crawl back into by cave with Woody's playbook now...

Dadgummit, does anyone just line up and play football anymore? I know the Buckeyes went "hurry up" this past week as well, I'm getting tired of the "hey, let's hurry up and do something before they're ready" offensive schemes that are taking over (see Mich1gAAn, Auburn, Oklahoma, Oregon, etc.). I understand that it is within the rules, and teams should do anything they can to win. It just seems to me that it's saying "Well, there's no way we can beat you if we had to go head to head- we're gonna" try this and see if that works.? Makes about as much sense as "whatever you want to do about expansion, we'll do that too."

Grumpy old men unit

I think UO may have the Ov/Un by THEMSELVES in this game...

The Quack Attack is just flat-out destroying the Bruins.

Someone want to remind UCLA that the game HAS REALLY started? Like for real, for real?

I couldn't agree more. And on top of that, they go for 2 on their second score, try a lateral on a punt return, go for it on fourth down with no reason to do so, (also rushing up to the line to do it).

I mean c'mon, if you're really the best team in the nation, line up and give it to them, don't fucking try to trick and confuse a win out of them.

I am never rooting for players to be injured, but if one of them do happen to bite it in this pathetic display of classlessness, so be it, they'll have had it coming.

How is it any worse than ball control offenses? Is that admitting your defense can't go toe-to-toe with the opposing offense?

AHAHHAHAHAH

are you hearing these dumbass announcers?

They think that GOING FOR IT ON 4TH DOWN is being classy, because kicking a field goal is running up the score.

WTF?

No morons. Going for it on fourth down is a classless attempt to run up the score, and the THIRD attempted 4th down conversion of this game.

Christ. What is Oregon? The new USC? Get out of their assholes.

Kicking a field goal = points

Going for it on 4th down = giving them a chance to stop you
