I wish we could put GOL's quote on the scoreboard right before the game. Why can't fans have bulletin board material as well?

Is there any reason, like being considered bad sportsmanship, they couldn't/wouldn't? After all, they did use the "Deal with it" and a few other running off their mouth Wiscy lines in the pre-game video for basketball the other year. I think the crowd would make GOL wish he'd never opened his mouth if that were put on the scoreboards and wrap around, or at least the students would likely be a little louder than usual.

After some of the crap that's come from their team the last few days, I say screw it with the decorum, and go for two on the last TD we get even if we're already up by a lot. I think Urban would like to use Woody's famous line. :sneaky:

It's not bad sportsmanship. He said it. Make it so the scoreboard is directed to the fans. Just say prove him wrong, get loud at the end.

I think the reason they won't do anything is because it's just UCF.

Won't do anything? Have you seen what they're planning for tomorrow?!?!? They're COLOR CODING the Shoe!!!!1! They wouldn't do that if it was ''just'' UCF!!

I haven't decided if I'll participate in the scarlet and gray thing or not. I don't want to jinx the game by changing up my colors.

Etc, etc etc. I don't want be the A-Hole that is blocking anyones view but the people who are there and just scream to sit down as they play with their Iphone etc instead of watching or cheering put me over the edge.
!

If I'm at a game, I am there to cheer for the team in the way I see fit.

If that means some fatass who doesn't want to stand up for long periods of time is inconvenienced, too fucking bad.

They played the entire George O'Leary quote from his presser on 97.1 this afternoon. Not only did he say Ohio Stadium is not very loud, he also said the fans sit on their hands and that it's not a tough environment because the fans are so far away from the field.

From his comments, it's pretty clear he hasn't been in the Shoe, or perhaps even seen it, since the stadium held 80k and the south bleachers and track were still in place. As a coach his only visit to the Shoe was with Syracuse back in 1980. If he's been to a game since then it likely would have been as a NFL scout in the early/mid 90s.

Pantoni needs to have the full video clip on the scoreboard before kickoff.

If he really hasn't planned around the new field level or noise, there will be false starts and probably a muffed punt or two in UCF's future.

UCF taking the "insult the torturer in the hope he'll respect you and quit" approach I see.

Brilliant.

If that's the case I hope they even find the stadium tomorrow. He'll probably take one look at the Shoe ask when Columbus got an NFL team and tell the driver to keep going.
