    • The Ohio State Buckeyes welcome the Bearcats of the University of Cincinnati and the Eastern Michigan Eagles for 2 midweek games.

    COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State baseball team is set to host two midweek games at Nick Swisher Field at Bill Davis Stadium. The Buckeyes (14-17, 3-6 B1G) welcome Cincinnati Tuesday before taking on Eastern Michigan Wednesday in Columbus. Both games start at 6:35 p.m. and will be streamed on BTN Plus ($).

    COLUMBUS, Ohio - Despite a quality start from left-handed starting pitcher Connor Curlis, the Ohio State baseball team fell, 7-1, against Cincinnati Tuesday night at Nick Swisher Field at Bill Davis Stadium. With the loss, the Buckeyes fall to 14-18 overall, while the Bearcats improve to 16-16 overall in 2017.

    GREAT START BY CC IN NO DECISION
    Left-handed pitcher Connor Curlis was sharp on the mound and had the longest outing of his career, working six innings and limiting the Bearcats to one run on two hits with three strikeouts and one walk. However, the OSU lefty received a no decision in his fourth start of the season.

    COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State baseball team was edged by Eastern Michigan, 3-1, Wednesday night at Nick Swisher Field at Bill Davis Stadium. With the loss, the Buckeyes fall to 14-19 overall, while the Eagles improve to 13-20 in 2017.

    EAGLE SCORING PLAYS
    Eastern Michigan scored two runs on two hits and one fielding error in the top of the first vs. right-handed starter Austin Woodby. A two-run single through the right side by John Montgomery gave the away team the early lead. Woodby limited the damage when he induced a ground ball double play to end the frame. Eastern Michigan added an insurance run in the top of the ninth on a solo home run by John Rensel Jr.

    Just want to point out:

    The Ohio State baseball team was edged by Eastern Michigan, 3-1, Wednesday night at Nick Swisher Field at Bill Davis Stadium. With the loss, the Buckeyes fall to 14-19 overall, while the Eagles improve to 13-20 in 2017.

    OSU dropped a home game to a team that is 13-20.
