Truly regressing as a soccer nation despite having more guys playing in “top” leagues and teams.
Seriously reconsidering wasting any money on the World Cup next summer.

I know the top guys are out. And even the next level. And it’s just a friendly…it’s just a friendly.
But they’ve never gotten beat down like this, at home. It just feels rotten and has for a decade + at this point.
The fact it’s happening in front of a lazy half packed crowd due to overpriced, greedy USSF decisions is just all the more fitting. There’s no true juice or direction in the program. They still can’t figure out youth development and our country continues to widen the economic barriers to this sport.
But I’m glad the execs get some shiny new offices in Arthur Blank’s backyard.
Alright I’m done. Off to watch a history doc on PBS or something.

Our strength was supposedly going to be our depth…so many options! So many guys overseas! So many strikers to choose from!
