That might be a good question for the manager. That fluke run in the Confed Cup and his son bailing his ass out in thw WC might end up haunting the national team for years.

Is there a reason why the strongest player on the pitch spends half his time on the ground? I know everybody dives and it pisses me off to watch, but it pisses me off more when our players dive and then don't get the call. Why not try to play through that minimal contact every once in a while to see where that gets you? Altidore spends more time on his back than a hooker.

That was getting to me too. What's the use in having a bigger and stronger squad out there if you''re not going to play like you're bigger and stronger?
