U.S. Men's National Soccer (Official Thread)

What happened to Stuart Holden?? I thought he was one of our better players throughout the World Cup prelims...

He was always a guy that controlled the ball very well and I expected he'd be a staple going forward for the US Team.
He was having a phenomenal season in the EPL before he was once again taken out on a hard challenge and injured for the remainder of the year. Still out.

Was named to the First XI in the EPL at the mid-way point. An American. First XI. In England. That's something special.

Kid is great, but the luck with injuries (aka, jackasses coming in right at his shins) have set him back.

US dominating, but no score. This is one of the slowest USA teams I've watched. Not just player speed, but the decision-making is just poor. I feel a regression at this point. :(
