U.S. Men's National Soccer (Official Thread)

With one game left, here's what needs to happen for USA to qualify for 2018 World Cup

The road to Russia is a lot shorter and clearer since Bruce Arena took over

Clinching scenarios

Win vs. Trinidad and Tobago A victory would automatically clinch a spot at the cup. Simple enough.

Draw vs. Trinidad and Tobago and Panama does not win by eight goals vs. Costa Rica.

Lose vs. Trinidad and Tobago and a Panama loss/draw combined with Honduras loss to Mexico.

As long as the field isn't flooded, that's a minor victory in my book.

The one area that I wish the USMNT could've worked on in qualifying is bringing in more youth and building a more dynamic roster for 2018. But when you're fighting to qualify, squad rotation isn't really a possibility.

Hopefully an energized effort tonight.
