U.S. Men's National Soccer (Official Thread)

I guess we're going to be playing the World Cup during the winter in 2022, whether anyone wants to or not.

Seems like the decision is already made.

But they really should've bid it like that, since any idiot knows that Qatar is hot during the summer (hot is actually an understatement).

Why does Sepp Blatter or any FIFA exec care? They already got the money or goods...and Blatter will probably not be alive in 2022.

One thing, if I'm FOX, I want money back because the World Cup is going against a lot more sports in the Winter than Summer (in the U.S.).

Klinsmann Makes Four Changes to the squad, Besler, Gonzalez, Gordon, and Johnson.

Gonzalez won't be available until the semifinals. I think it might have been mentioned earlier in the thread, but I like the idea of getting Besler and Gonzalez more time together in meaningful games. It can't do anything but help them grow together which I think is definitely a necessity heading towards Brazil next year.

Here's the link.

That was a helluva run by the Salvadoran. No arguments from me on the penalty. That was some defensive inexperience by Beasley.

Suddenly we have a match here. The US has left a lot of chances begging in the last 15 minutes.
