RB James Peoples (Official Thread)

JAMES PEOPLES
The final prospect offered over the weekend was 2024 Texas running back James Peoples. Ohio State running backs coach Tony Alford was the coach that delivered the offer to the 5-foot-10, 192-pound running back.
Peoples does not hold a composite ranking but has racked up 10 Division I offers, including Texas, Missouri, SMU, TCU and Texas Tech. More are likely on the way after what’s turning into a breakout season for Peoples at Veterans Memorial High School in San Antonio, Texas.

Peoples has racked up 1,078 yards on 107 carries (10.1 yards per carry) with 18 touchdowns so far while adding eight receptions for 68 yards and a touchdown in the passing game.

Born in Germany, Peoples has ties to Ohio, as his father James Peoples was a quarterback at Cleveland Heights (’97) while his mother Nakisha Peoples was a Hall of Fame (Thiel College) track athlete from Youngstown. Before lighting up Friday nights for Veterans Memorial in San Antonio, Texas, he grew up watching and rooting for Ohio State football, as did the entire family. His father’s military career uprooted them from Europe to Texas in 2009, but Ohio has always had a special place in their heart.
OSU will be in this one until the end. Any 2 of Marshall, Peoples or SWD would be an amazing class
