Training wheels are the cool thing to have on your bicycle in Queens, New York right now. It's not to help little tikes learn how to ride bikes though, it is to support the 200+ pound audio systems the kids are putting on their bicycles.

The trend is making its way to the US from Trinidad, where creating decked out audio bicycles is a popular hobby. Car batteries are used for power and extra bracing on the custom training wheels holds the bulk of the audio system's weight.

A few of the kids even have a business called Legal Intentionz where they install the bicycle audio systems for other kids, while others support their hobby by installing car audio systems.

exactly how long would one of these bikes last before being stolen or stripped completely?

over/under on 30 mins

How long would a Ferrari last being driven to work every day?

The more "exotic" a bike is the less likely to be stolen(it's easier to spot)
You have a nice bike it belongs in your house...not your cold, theivable garage!
It's in your house, it's insurance covered.
