Turning in tickets for handicap accesable ones

I recently had knee surgery and as a result I have a temporary disability permit through October. Here is my question: How do turning in tickets work?

Because I have one, I know I can turn in tickets for handicap accessible ones. However; what I do not know is how this works in terms of new location and number of tickets available to turn in. I wanted to try and pick free ones up outside the stadium this weekend (did this for Wiscy last year and got a pair in D deck with a stranger, turned out to be not half bad of seats :)) but believe it or not come kickoff they wasn't even a pair to be had by scalpers or anyone else so we went home. BUT back to my question, if I have D deck tickets, can I sit in handicap seats in 30AA once I get them turned in or am I relegated to D deck? Also, because I am going with someone else but I only have one permit do both get upgraded? And if so, if I just grab 2 cheap singles can we still sit together in the new location or do they only allow pairs to be upgraded for people to sit together? Much help appreciated!

Thanks

I've done it a few times. My mother uses a wheel chair and I've had knee problems/surgeries. You can get tickets if you have them for exchange and just tell them why . Located at the stadium to the right/below of the main entrance . They start the exchanging 2 hours before, the game and I've only traded 2 tickets when , I do it.

I have a friend that has to go through this every game. Last year it seemed that no matter what he did (exchanging early or exchanging prior to kickoff) they would put him in south stands. They did this even if he had 50 yard tix. This seemed to start last year and I have yet to go to a game with him this year. If you find out any tricks, let me know cause I'm sick of hearing him complain that they screwed him again. Worst part was seeing all the empty seats around the bottom of A deck wear they used to put him.

That's the info I saw as well. Doesn't say about the two singles ect but o suppose we will see. This week I can definately manage to find free tickets out front and not have to take the risk of getting downgr.aded with our season tickets. Ill let you guys know what happens.

I did it my way again and was at the 15 AA. I'll never call OSU again and that nice lady/OSU that I talked with told me the same story that I've been told for years. The stadium can't handle all the requests cause of health reasons for ticket exchanges and the top north side of the end zone you have to take the elevator or walk down for bathroom breaks so, is that really handicap help. Call a lawyer:biggrin:
