Our recruiting is on par with Bama. Urban never really had rebuilding years either here. At worst it was 12-2. Some teams were a painful 12-2 but still the record looks good.

I think Day has been riding the momentum of Meyer for his first two years. Let's see what he's really made of.

Yeah, our recruiting is on par. But Nick Saban is one of, if not THE best CFB ever. He just is. I know we all want that, but they're on a historic run. Nobody should be comparing themselves to Bammer. And, yes, time will tell on Day. I think at the very least some massive shakeups of this D staff will be in order.
