2016 early enrollee Tuf Borland is a 6’2” 225 pound linebacker from Bolingbrook, Illinois. 24/7 Sports rates Borland as a three-star recruit and gave him a composite ranking of 0.8935. He is ranked as the 313th best prospect in the nation. In a very surprising move, he initially committed to Ohio State in April of last year after many thought he was guaranteed to attend Wisconsin following in the footsteps of his father.
Extremely excited to say I've decided to attend The Ohio State University!!

Borland is stepping into one of the most talented groups at Ohio State and faces a possible redshirt due to the sheer amount of talent in the linebacker room. With that said, there are two open spots in the starting rotation, so there is definitely a chance for him to play his way into the rotation barring injuries. Borland will join guys from last year’s class, Jerome Baker, Nick Conner, and Justin Hilliard, in nipping at the heels of the elder statesman Dante Booker and Chris Worley for those starting spots.
