Actually, no. Michigan has won only 1/2 a national championship in the last 70 years. That's less national championships than Minnesota, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Brigham Young, and their own little brother, Michigan State.

And here's something else you might not know - Michigan has never won a coaches poll, which has been in existence since 1950. That's 68 69 years with a national championship from the college coaches.

I look at their list of 10.5 claimed NC's and celebrate as each one goes over the century mark.

1901, 1902, 1903, 1904, 1918, 1923, 1932, 1933, 1947, 1948, 1997
