As @Jaxbuck, has pointed out, they're not really underachieving right now. This is what they are (only even more fun than usual to make fun of because of JimBlo) but it feels worse to them because anything short of the playoff is now considered failure and because OSU is on a long run of hitting on pretty much all cylinders in approaching its much higher program ceiling. Since they're currently performing around their historical average, they can definitely do worse.

So I used Shoowin or whatever it's been rebranded again this year for my tickets to Indy. For those not familiar, it's basically an options market for tickets to events. Before it's determined who plays in the game this company buys tickets for both sides of the stadium and then allows people to buy an option to buy the tickets at face value provided your team gets to the game.

Any fuck up there who got tickets outright before the season is not only delusional but stupid. They deserve to be separated from their money.

Also, now that I think about it... one of the things that I look at when I buy my options (before the first regular season game), I check out the pricing on the other teams for equivalent seats. Even though we were picked by the experts to not finish above tsun, the pricing on the options disagreed. We were by far the most expensive alternative out there. I guess where I'm going with this is, if all plays out as expected, that the B1G CCG ticket options were a more efficient market than virtually all of the preseason modes including FPI. Perhaps that will be included in my next jab at the FPI.
