Back in 2002 I took a later flight back home to my grandfathers funeral so I wouldn't have to connect through Detroit and set foot on tsun soil.

It's Woody's work we do good sir. Woody's work.

In response to a post about an older member in the Denzel thread... :slappy:

Well, sonny, why don't you just step over here? We have a great trip through Ohio State football history just for you.

Let's start with a story about Woody Hayes and courage. Here. Just hold this turtle a moment.

Michigan football uses James Laurinaitis’ father in ‘Legion of Doom’ recruiting graphic

Michigan might have wanted to do some more research before making this graphic.

Former Ohio State star James Laurinaitis was not pleased when he saw the latest recruiting graphic from Michigan football.

Friday morning, Michigan linebackers coach Al Washington tweeted out a Photoshopped graphic of Wolverines defensive coordinator Don Brown and defensive line coach Greg Mattison as the former professional wrestling tag team, Legion of Doom.

@CoachGMattison & @FBCoachDBrown Are Rolling Into Ohio Like A Legendary Tag Team UhhhWhatARushhhh!! Ready To Visit Some Great Schools #GoBlue #Hail 〽️ S/O @AaronBDesigns pic.twitter.com/nrd6pbjneh

On the surface the graphic is nothing too out of the ordinary for college recruiting (even with the face makeup and spiked shoulder pads). Michigan and other schools often tweet out graphics like this to let high school players and others know where they’re recruiting.

The problem with the Legion of Boom graphic for Laurinaitis is that his father was one of the members of the famous wrestling tag team. Joseph Laurinaitis, aka Road Warrior Animal, spent decades in professional wrestling.

James Laurinaitis, who played linebacker at Ohio State from 2005-08, tweeted his reaction to seeing his father’s likeness used to promote Michigan.

Joseph Laurinaitis also chimed in on Twitter, saying the Legion of Doom members “are always going to be Buckeyes.”

CHARLES WOODSON: MICHIGAN KEEPS LOSING TO OHIO STATE BECAUSE MICHIGAN ISN'T EMPHASIZING OHIO STATE ENOUGH

Ohio State fans who suffered through or came of age with the Michigan rivalry in the 1990s must have thought they'd never see this day, even if they privately dreamed it would happen.

Michigan has defeated Ohio State just twice this century, a statistic for which we will clarify, to our friends up north, the 20th century ended on Dec. 31, 2000. Ohio State has owned the series since Jim Tressel effectively promised victory in Ann Arbor upon his arrival.

Now, the wailing and gnashing of teeth emanate from Michigan and alumni like Charles Woodson are left prognosticating how the Wolverines found themselves in the position they put Ohio State 20 years ago.

He said Saturday he feels the game hasn’t been emphasized enough by Michigan.

“To be quite honest I really feel like over the years, in recent years, there hasn’t been the emphasis that I’m used to being put on that game,” Woodson said.

“Every game has been out on the same level of that game and that’s not the way we were brought up, that’s not the way we were raised around here. And we had no shame in saying it.”

Then maybe it is as simple as "scUM is losing to Ohio State becaue they just SUCK".

My theory has been and will forever be that Hoke spent the last five weeks (or so) of every season practicing for Ohio State, which is why they looked so pathetically bad against everyone else down the stretch, and why his teams over performed against tOSU.

This

They can say whatever else they want about our old buddy Brady, that fat buffoon understood The Game. His teams played better than they had all year against OSU.

Yet another reason I still say that Hoke > Harbaugh at tsun.
