1. All time record holder in just about every statistical category
2. Current starting QB for the #4 team in the country
3. Current starting QB for the #6 team in the country
4. Reigning Gatorade national offensive player of the year

I sincerely hope they’re not even remotely concerned with this. 6-14 probably looks like a good clip to them irrespective of the circumstances under which this occurred.

The SMU was game was pretty sloppy for them. The 45 points looks "nice" on paper but if you watched it wasnt that pretty.

Game coulda been 14-7 at Halftime without that awful pick 6 by SMUs awful QB to end the half. That kinda opened the flood gates heading into the 2nd half.

Now they get 3 total schlubs in Nebraska, Northwestern and Maryland (wouldnt be shocked to see them struggle with 1 of these though), so their fans will probably be pretty giddy heading into that game vs Wisconsin.....which would be hilarious if they lost at home to destroy said giddyness

They were moving the ball, and may well have had a chance at a FG before the half expired. The first half was fairly even...that's SMU, at The Pig House, fairly even for an entire half. Think about that...

It's hilarious watching them try to convince themselves that WMU and SMU are "decent" mid major teams. SMU might be lucky to win 4 games this season.

And they are already working on touting Nebraska as being "not that bad" from what i've seen on their boards. The delusion is off the charts. The spin job if they happen to struggle with Nebraska will be hilarious.

If that QB is back fro Nebby, all three of those teams can give tsun a game. Playing manball offense by it's very nature generally keeps games close and low scoring when the opponent isn't completely overmatcched or doesn't turn it over a lot.

tsuns talent edge isn't very significant vs the rest of the B1G except for maybe Rutgers.

All I want out of this year is for healthy Shea going into the game. If you have a better QB, you always have a chance and I believe that we have a better QB than OSU this year. I have no doubt that we would have won the game in 2015 with healthy Rudock (or any of the last three games with a healthy starting QB).
