I know your disdain for ND, and I share it, but TTUN is FAR worse than them. Over the last 50 years, they do actually have some decent play. Not much, but at least some.

Joe has behaved in quite the opposite manner, but at some point he has to look out for his future. He's going to have his degree and is probably not close to the top spot (and not because of his ability).

Meanwhile they'll probably have a few packages for a running QB, and if it's just an occasional snap, I'd go with Martell all day, as he's electric (just not built for a thousand hits).

Burrow's father has already said Joe is committed to this team and plans to stay through spring ball to compete with Haskins, and wants to graduate with an Ohio State degree. Whether that means he'll pursue a post-grad transfer waiver during the summer of 2018 if he doesn't win the starting job is anyones guess.
